Infrared Repair

Potholes and uneven asphalt surfaces surrounding manholes and catch basins pose a liability risk to companies for both vehicular and foot traffic.  Left untreated, potholes and other degraded asphalt areas will also lead to more extensive and expensive pavement repair costs.

Infrared asphalt repair is a far superior solution than the basic saw cut method.  It is more economical, requires less time to patch, and extends the life of your asphalt.

Utilizing our KM International Infrared Machine, existing pavement will be added to hot-mix asphalt and compacted, creating a seamless restoration.  The thermal bonding of the patch to the existing asphalt creates a structural bond, drastically reducing the chance of water penetrating the repair and causing future issues.

The beauty of hot asphalt mix is its durability as well as its ability to be used during all four seasons.  This can be especially important during the cold winter months, which are notorious for their harsh impact on asphalt from snow, freezing moisture, and snow removal equipment.

Repair of areas up to 3 ½’ x 6 ½’ can be patched in twenty minutes.  Immediately after the asphalt repair, the area can be re-opened to traffic, without requiring longer-term logistical solutions.
